The B.C. Lions unveiled a new app Thursday that will allow fans to dive into their locker room and onto the field.

B.C. Lions EXP, available on iOS and Android platforms, uses 360-degree video to let fans use virtual reality video to join the team in the dressing room and experience what the players (and the cheerleading Felions) do on the field. It’s viewable either on a smartphone or on VR headsets.

Chris Bedyk of Perspective Films says he built the camera he will use to film live game action that should begin updating the app at about halftime of Friday’s home game against the Ottawa Redblacks.

There are also augmented reality quests that let fans do things like pat the team mascot mountain lion and catch passes from quarterback Jonathon Jennings.
